The water flow from my jet spray was quite low, and using it was very inconvenient. I planned to repair it on my own and started searching for how to repair jet spray. I learned that there are quite a few reasons a jet spray might need repair. One of the most common reasons is the lack of water pressure. To check if that was the reason, you can adjust the valve of the jet spray.
How to Repair Jet Spray in Toilet?
Besides that, there are two other reasons that I learned about and those are clogged nozzles and leakage in the pipe. I have added solutions to both of them below.
Clogged Nozzle
Another common reason is a clogged nozzle. Jet spray nozzles become clogged because of the debris build-up. You can use a toothpick or a brush to remove the built-up dirt from it. You can also remove the spray nozzle and soak it in a vinegar solution to dissolve the debris.
Leakage in Pipe
Leakage in jet spray pipe can be another reason the jet spray might need to be repaired. Take a tissue paper and run it along the pipe of the jet spray. By doing this, you will understand if there is any leakage or not.
If none of these seem to be the issue, you need to hire a plumber. You can hire one through
NoBroker Plumbing Services. Hope this helps.
