Turn off the water supply.
Turn the pump motor’s circuit breaker and close the water system’s main valve if the supply is connected to local water.
Turn on the shower valve to release pressure from the pipes.
Place the shower knob and loosen the screw with a screwdriver or hex-head wrench. Pull out the valve’s knob and fasten the screw. Remove the plates away from the wall.
To remove the camp use a small access hole.
Pull out the tub spout from the pipe by twisting the spout in the counterclockwise direction. You can use pliers to remove the corrosion locks.
Remove the head of the shower with pliers. Fasten the shower arm located inside the wall.
Remove the valve from the plumbing pipes and check for any signs of leaking pipes or water damage.
Place a new shower valve towards the shower arm. Insert all equipment in their places and tighten them with the screw.
