I just shifted into a newly rented house. I wanted to install a mirror that would match the aesthetics of my bathroom. Since there is tiling work in there, I wondered how to stick mirror on tiles. I could figure out two ways to do that. I could either stick the mirror on the wall or I could use mirror mounting brackets to hang it up there. Here is what I did.
How to Stick Mirror to Tiles
To stick mirror to tiles, as I mentioned, I figured two ways.
Use a Double Sided Tape
Clean the tiles thoroughly to remove all the dirt and dust
Next, take a broad double table and stick its one end on to the tiles.
Now, carefully check the placement of the mirror on the tiles and double tape.
Remove the paper from the adhesive of the double tape carefully and place your mirror on it.
Since my mirror was light-weight, the double tape could hold it together well. Here is another way you can stick mirror on tiles.
Use Mirror Mounting Brackets
While I was figuring out how to stick a mirror to tiles, I realised that there are mirror mounting brackets to hang mirror on tiles. This is how it works:
Prep the tiles by wiping off all the dust and dirt
Get the mirror mounting brackets (could be plastic or metal brackets)
Attach them to the tiles and adjust their arms according to your mirror placement
The arms of the mounting brackets will hold mirror securely
