• Getting the Walls Ready: My friend told me to remove the plates, light fixtures, etc., from the wall and also to fill all the holes with a joint compound. After that, he asked me to cover the whole wall with primer. 

• Applying Paste on the Wallapers: He told me to get a high-quality roller and use that to apply paste on the back of the wall. He told me that the cheap ones will leave fuzz balls on the walls. 

• Fold the Wallpaper: Next, he asked me to fold the wallpaper so that it becomes easier to paste and work with. 

• Use a Smoother: For the next step has asked me to use a smoother to squeeze out the paste or stretch the paper.

• Wiping Down and Cut the Overlay: He asked me to use a sponge to clean off paste residue on thesheets. After that he asked me cut off the excess edges of the wallpaper.

For the next step, he asked me to use a paintbrush or roller to apply an even coat of paste on the wall. Then he told me to hang the wallpaper. Following this, I had to remove the air bubbles with a smoothing tool starting from the center to the edges of the paper.

To complete the process, he told me to use a breakaway knife to trim off the excess paper from the top and bottom.
