If one is planning to have a large poultry farm, he or she needs to make sure that it is 5 to 6 km away from the residences. If it is a small farm then it should be at least 500 meters away from the residential areas. However one should not take such decisions on their own. The owner has to obtain a NOC or No Objection Certificate before starting his farm and while opting for it, he will know whether his farm is going to be legal or illegal.
How to lodge a complaint against the construction of a poultry farm?My mother and some more neighbors asked the person the very next day not to construct his farm there but he was quite reluctant.
