During the lockdown, I converted my house into a green paradise. I added lots of plants and made it look aesthetic as well as soothing. Indoor plants can be slightly tricky for beginners but don’t worry. In this answer, I will share with you some tips and tricks on how to take care of indoor plants. Just keep reading.
How to care for indoor plants? Water :One of the biggest reasons houseplants flourish is by adding appropriate amounts of water. According to the plant, you need to add water to the roots ie. a cactus will have a different water requirement than a money plant.
Another important step is ensuring that the plants aren’t being overwatered.
Soil :Indoor plants require stable soil moisture. For the most part, the soil needs to be neither too wet nor too dry.
Sunlight :It is a myth that indoor plants don’t require sunlight. Keep your plants in an area where they can receive plenty of sunlight. If you don't get sunlight in your house, you can opt for artificial light.
Fertilisers:To give your plants proper nutrients, add fertilizer to the soil. You will also need to make some drainage holes on the bottom of the plant pot.
Another tip on how to take care of indoor plants is using a humidifier to maintain the surrounding environment of your house. This will be highly effective in a place with a higher level of pollution.
Just go to your local nursery and pick some low-maintenance indoor plants to start with. I am sure you will love to see beautiful plants in your house.
