Applicant should be an Indian resident
Minimum age of the applicant must be 18 years
Maximum age should be 70 years
The process for home loan transfer to SBI will be as follows:
Submit the transfer application to your current lender and get NOC from them
After getting the NOC, go to the new lender and submit the application for home loan transfer along with the required documents.
You will have to wait for the final nod from the old lender and get the loan account closure documents from them
Now the home loan will be processed in SBI for which you will have to pay the processing fee.
After SBI approves the home loan balance transfer you will be able to continue paying EMIs at the interest rate as decided by SBI.
