People are using the net banking facility a lot to transfer money to others, but not everyone knows about it, especially elderly people. My father is also totally unaware of how to transfer money from one account to another without net banking. I believe it is okay. There are other options available as well. So let me tell you how to transfer money from one account to another without ATM card or net banking.

Without debit card how to transfer money?

Here are the ways by which you can transfer money without ATM/debit card or netbanking:

Visit the Bank Branch:

You can go to the physical branch of the bank where your account is held and request a manual transfer of funds from your account to another account. You'll need to fill out a withdrawal slip and provide details of the recipient's account. You can also do NEFT or RTGS as mentioned by Animesh in the previous comment.

Write a Cheque:

If you have a chequebook associated with your account, you can write a cheque payable to the recipient and provide it to them. They can then deposit the cheque into their account.

Visit an Agent:

In some cases, banks may have agents or representatives who can assist with transferring funds between accounts. This might be more common in rural or less digitally connected areas.

Use a P2P Payment App:

If both you and the recipient have a smartphone, you could use a person-to-person (P2P) payment app that doesn't require net banking but relies on internet connectivity. Apps like Paytm, PhonePe or mobile wallets might be options. I hope this answers the query: I don't have ATM card how can I transfer money.

Hey Pal,

While those who live in semi-metropolitan and big cities can instantly transfer money online, there are still a lot of people who cannot. In India, many people lack basic knowledge of internet money transfers. Hence, they wonder how to transfer money without ATM card and netbanking. This is due to the fact that not everyone in our nation has access to a computer or a mobile phone. Even if they do, network problems and unreliable wifi make online fund transfers a difficult process.

The NEFT and RTGS services can be used offline to enable these folks to take advantage of electronic fund transfer initiatives. By going to the closest branch of your bank, you can complete the NEFT and RTGS transactions offline.

How to do NEFT and RTGS Offline?

You can use the methods listed below to make an offline NEFT and RTGS transaction:

  • Visit your bank's nearest NEFT/RTGS-enabled branch.

  • The NEFT/RTGS fund transfer request form should be filled out. Make sure to provide information such as the recipient's name and account number, the transfer amount, the beneficiary bank's name, and the beneficiary bank branch's IFSC code, such as HDFC Bank IFSC Code.

  • When submitting a request form for an RTGS transaction, include a check leaf.

  • Send the bank staff the request form.

  • The bank representative will use NEFT or RTGS to debit the money from your account and transfer it to the beneficiary's branch.

Please be aware that there will be a fee from the banks for NEFT/RTGS fund transfers. The fees for offline NEFT and RTGS services may vary from one bank to another because the RBI has not set any fees. However, depending on the amount, you may anticipate that the fees for an RTGS transaction will range from Rs 5 to Rs 50.

I would like to conclude here about how to transfer money without ATM card and netbanking. I hope this helps:)
