How to transfer PF money to bank account ?

There are many doubts which come to an employee’s mind when it comes to PF withdrawal. One such doubt is how to transfer PF amount to bank account online. It is a simple process and there are many ways to do so. 

You can easily transfer your PF balance to your bank account by raising a request to your employer or your company. The company or your employer will then transfer your request to EPFO and the money will be transferred to your bank account within 7 days time. There are other ways too.

How to transfer PF amount to my bank account?

Follow these steps to transfer your PF amount to your bank account

1. Visit the official website of EPFO and log in to your account.

2. Then tap on the ‘online services’ option and choose the ‘Transfer PF Account" option.

3. You will have to input your details like your bank account number, IFSC code and PF account number.

4. Tap on the ‘submit’ button.

5. Now, you will get an OTP on the mobile number registered with your PF account. Input this OTP and then tap on the ‘verify’ tab.

6. After this, your PF amount will be transferred to your bank account within 7 days of time.

Before I share with you how to transfer PF money online to bank account. Let me share the list of documents needed for the process. 

• Revised Form 13

• Valid Identity Proof (PAN, Aadhar or Driving Licence)

• UAN

• Current employer’s details

• Establishment Number

• Account Number

• Bank account details of the salary account

• Old and current PF account details

• You will need to log in with your UAN and password on the EPFO's e-sewa portal.

• Click on the 'Manage' tab and select 'KYC'. 

• You will need to check all details here

• Then, click on ‘'Online Services' tab and

• Select the option which says ‘'Claim' from the dropdown menu.

• The display screen will show all member details. 

• Click on the 'Proceed For Online Claim' tab

• In the claim form, select the option for Pension withdrawal, under the 'I Want To Apply For tab. 

• Authenticate the form with OTP and click on submit.
