How to upholster a wooden chair?- Strip Furniture
You will need to strip the old fabric off the furniture with the help of a staple puller/remover. Just remove the fabric and keep it aside. If the old pins and upholstery are in good shape, you can later repurpose them.
- Fabric Panel:
Take the new fabric panel and just spread it over the piece of furniture. For the chair, stretch the fabric over the back first. Make sure the fabric pattern is lined up straight.
- Trim :
Depending on the trend, design of the furniture, you will need to trim the fabric. Trim it as neatly as you can while making sure the fabric reaches all the staple lines.

4. Application :
You will then need to apply the new fabric while making a tight grip. Once the fabric is glued down, you can staple the fabric with the help of staplers.
