How to upload thumb impression?

This year my sister applied for the NEET examination. Candidates who met the requirements were instructed to upload their documents and online thumb impressions. Additionally, it was informed that the application would be rejected if the thumb impression was missing or unclear.

If you want to know how to take thumb impression online, I can share the steps that my sister took while submitting her NEET application. 

How to get thumb impression online?

• The document must be submitted in JPEG format.

• The file's size should only be between 10 and 200 kb.

• Candidates will need to scan a picture of their thumb and fingers that has been printed on white paper. All fingers and thumbs of both hands should be touching the sheet and clearly visible.

• The thumb and finger impressions of candidates can be made with black ink.

Here is what I did to upload my thumb impression in a college application form. 

• I took a white-blank sheet of paper. 

• I drew a rectangular box of size 2.5 cm × 6 cm on the sheer

• I dipped my thumb in blue ink 

• I made an impression of my thumb within the box.

• I scanned that sheet with the Adobe scanner. ( You can use any scanning app)

• I made a file out of the scanned document. 

• You might have to convert the file to pdf, or jpeg according to your use. 

• I uploaded the file to the application. 

You can follow the same process to upload your signature online. 

• If you have a scanner machine laying around, you can simply connect the machine to your desktop. 

• You can see the impression of your thumb on the screen as your press your finger on the scanner.

• Click on the upload button and your thumb impression will get uploaded without any fuss. 

If you don't know how to upload your signature or thumbprint, don't fret. In many government schemes like Aadhar, the officials have their machines and use them to scan thumbs.
