I was planning to paint the doors of my house, but I didn’t know which paint would be better. I got in touch with a painter, and he suggested I use Asian paints touchwood. Following that, I did some research on my own about Asian paints touchwood how to use it. Here is what I learnt after my research.

How to use Asian Paints Touchwood Easily?

As Parminder has mentioned, you need to properly sand your wooden surface before proceeding with the painting process. Here are other things I learnt along the way.

  • I started off with sanding the wooden surface that needs to be painted.

  • Next, I cleaned the surface with a cloth to remove debris and dust

  • If there are any dents, fill them up using any putty or some wood filler using a putty knife. The area around my door handle was rough, so I applied a small amount of WoodTech filler.

  • Next, I stained the surface with spray paint and let it dry for a couple of hours.

  • Once the stain dried, I followed up with the paint. I just had to use two coats. You can check and see if you need to apply a third coat.

The painter told me about a few benefits of using this paint, which I have added below.

  • This paint can be used on wood pretty easily with a brush.

  • It doesn’t require a separate sealer and the same material can be used beneath it as well.

  • This paint is known to provide better hardness and protection to wood.

And that’s all he had told me about Asian Paints Touchwood. I hope this helps.

Hi! I got my wooden table painted with the Touchwood a while ago. So, I can help you Asian Paints Touchwood how to use.

What is the Asian Paints Touchwood Use Procedure?

To use the Asian Paints Touchwood, you can follow these steps.

  1. First, sand the wooden surface along the grains using sandpaper with 180 grit, followed by 320 grit and then 400 grit sandpaper.

  2. Wipe the surface to get rid of the loose dust particles.

  3. If the wooden surface has dents, apply an Aquadur Dent Filler with a putty knife over the dented area.

  4. Apply the Aquadur wood stain or WoodTech wood stains to colour. Allow the material to dry for 30 to 120 minutes.

  5. You can then begin to paint the surface with the first coat. Then, sand the surface with 320 or 400 grit sandpaper.

  6. Apply a second coat, followed by sanding the surface once again.

  7. Apply a third coat if needed, and finish by sanding the surface.

This is how to use Asian Paints Touchwood. I hope you can now use the product on your own.
