• Surface Preparation:

• Apply a Waterproofing Membrane: 

Initially, follow the manufacturer's recommendations and apply an appropriate waterproofing membrane, such as a liquid or sheet membrane. This forms a watertight barrier.

• Embed Fibreglass Mesh:

   

Gently press the fibreglass mesh into the waterproofing membrane while it is still wet. Make sure there are no creases or spaces in the mesh; it should be completely embedded.

• Overlapping Joints: 

To produce a continuous, strengthened layer, overlap the mesh's edges by a few inches. To stop water from penetrating, this is essential.

• Second Membrane application: 

Cover and enclose the mesh completely with a second application of the waterproofing membrane.

• Dry and Cure: 

Following the manufacturer's recommendations, let the waterproofing system dry and cure. Usually, this requires a minimum of 24 hours.
