How to Use Geyser in Bathroom?

Chilly winters call for geysers. I used to heat water and get it mixed with tap water to bath, but it was a waste of gas or electricity (induction). We therefore installed a geyser, but realised a lot of things needed to be focused on. If you become careless about an electrical appliance associated with water, it can be really harmful and even life threatening. Our electrician explained to us how to use geyser in bathroom in detail and be risk free. I feel that everyone of you must be aware of it. 

How to use bathroom geyser?

Make sure you use the geyser properly. There are certain things that you must focus on, like-

Read the instruction manual provided by the manufacturer to understand the specific features and operating instructions for your geyser model. This will ensure that you use it correctly and safely.

that the geyser is properly connected to a water supply and an electrical power source. Most geysers are connected to the main water supply and have an electrical connection.

Set the desired temperature: 

Locate the temperature control knob or buttons on the geyser. Adjust it to your preferred temperature. Usually, the recommended temperature is around 120°F (49°C) to prevent scalding.

Open the water supply valve leading to the geyser. This allows water to flow into the unit.

Locate the power switch or button on the geyser and turn it on. This activates the heating element, which begins to heat the water inside the tank.

The geyser will take some time to heat the water to the desired temperature. The duration depends on the capacity of the geyser and the initial water temperature.

Once the water has reached the desired temperature, you can start using hot water in your bathroom. Turn on the hot water tap or shower, and hot water will flow out of the geyser into your fixtures.

Always exercise caution when using hot water from the geyser. Test the water temperature before using it to avoid scalding. Remember to turn off the geyser when you no longer need hot water to conserve energy.
