Hello friend! I had a semi-automatic machine at my house a couple of months back before we switched to a fully automatic one. My wife and I used to take turns operating the semi-automatic machine. As I have done the task for several years, I can tell you how to use semi automatic washing machine. So, here is a simple guide to assist you with the same.

How to Use Semi Auto Washing Machine?

Here is how you can use your semi-automatic washing machine. This is a general guide, and minor changes can happen based on your particular washing machine.

  • The first step is to put your clothes into the washing machine tub. Ensure that you do not stuff too many clothes.

  • Now, add water and the washing powder. Read the instructions on the package before usage to put in the right amount of the powder.

  • Now, you need to select the duration of the wash.

  • Once the wash period is over, drain the water.

  • Add a bit more water for the rinse-washing cycle.

  • Drain the water once again.

  • Next, you need to spin the clothes. So, for people like me who have a twin tub model, the clothes are to be transferred into the spinner tub. On the other hand, if you have a single tub, just switch on the spinner mode.

  • Lastly, remove the clothes from the machine and hang them to dry.

I would advise you to first read the fabric care labels, mainly found on the collar or the bottom part of the clothes before washing them. Never spin dry materials such as wool or silk, as they will get ruined. I hope this answer helps you learn the semi automatic washing machine use.
