Our guest room had a wooden table which looked dull and worn out. There were visible scuffs and scratches all over it. So, to give it a renewed look, I knew I had to use sheenlac wood polish. I didn’t know the exact steps so after researching a bit, I came across a few websites that explained how to use sheenlac wood polish. I am sharing the DIY steps that I followed below for your reference.

Sheenlac Wood Polish How to Use?

If your wooden furniture has faded stains, you might consider using sheenlac wood stainer to add colour. You can follow the below instructions to understand how to use sheenlac wood stainer.

Preparation

Before you apply the polish, make sure you clean the surface. I used a damp cloth to wipe off the dirt. Then, I applied one coat of Sheenlac NC sanding sealer to ensure the surface is smooth enough for the paint.

Apply the Polish

Use a brush or an applicator pad to apply the Sheenlac wood polish on the surface. I applied a thin coat of polish in the direction of the wood grain. This helps in creating a flat, even surface. Once you’re done, allow some time to dry before applying additional coats.

Buffing

This is optional but to ensure you have a glossy and smooth finish, it’s important to buff the surface. I used a clean, dry cloth to buff the table. Do this after the polish has completely dried.

I hope this helps you understand how to apply sheenlac wood polish.
