How to use vinegar to clean windows?

1. Make your cleaning solution by combining the ingredients. Combine equal parts distilled water and white vinegar for most windows. Combine 2 cups of water, 1/4 cup of vinegar, and 1/2 teaspoon of dish detergent in a spray bottle for extremely unclean windows, especially external windows.

2. Remove any window screens you may have. Scrub carefully with a microfiber cloth or soft scrub brush after spraying with the same vinegar and water solution. Use a mix of equal parts dish soap and vinegar to remove stubborn spots. 

3. Make sure the windows are clean. Using a Z pattern, spray the solution on and wipe it away. Move from left to right, then diagonally to the left before returning to the left.
