How to Wallpaper the Ceiling?

The ceiling of my son’s new bedroom looked a little dull, so I decided to put a wallpaper on it a few months ago. I thought that it would also be a fun little task and I had seen some very lovely designs online, especially ones of outer space with constellations and planets since my son loves it so much. . I found that it can be done by gathering some required supplies, cleaning the ceiling, cutting the wallpaper in required length and so on. 

You can even use any old leftover wallpaper that you might have. Now, I will explain the steps I found in detail, and I hope it will help you. 

How to Apply Wallpaper to Ceiling?

Here is the process that I came across:

• Start by gathering all the supplies you would need, which included a ladder, wallpaper paste, brushes, smoothing tools, and utility knives. 

• You must ensure to completely clean the ceiling before beginning to get rid of any dust or cobwebs. 

• Then cut the wallpaper into manageable lengths after measuring your ceiling. It was important to have pieces that weren’t too heavy for you to handle, but were still long enough.

• You now mix the wallpaper paste and then evenly spread it over the back of each strip. 

• Now, carefully place the first strip in one ceiling corner using a ladder. This is a challenging section. It needed to be correctly aligned and straight.

• You can now use your smoothing tool to make sure it stuck firmly and to get rid of any air bubbles once it was finally in place. 

• Along each strip, ensure the patterns match perfectly. You must remove any extra paste that might have seeped out of the edges with a wet towel. 

As it requires knowledge and time, I hired a painter from NoBroker to do the job. After the professional completed his job, I took a step back to look at his work. The ceiling looked amazing. My son was so happy with the transformation. I hope you get an idea of how to apply wallpaper on ceiling.
