Your Diwali celebration plan sounds fantastic! Decorating your home with colorful rangoli, torans, and marigold flowers is a wonderful way to create a festive atmosphere. Using fairy lights on your balcony adds a magical touch to the ambiance, and lighting up your house with Diyas is a beautiful tradition. The idea of preparing sweets and sharing them with friends is heartwarming. Kheer, barfis, Gulab Jamun, and Soan Papdi are indeed delightful treats for Diwali. The homemade milk cakes must be a special delight for your children. Wearing traditional clothes like saree, salwar, or kurta is a great way to embrace the spirit of Diwali. And it's a responsible choice to avoid firecrackers due to air pollution and safety concerns, especially with kids around. As you celebrate Diwali with your family and friends, don't forget to exchange Diwali gifts and share the sweetness of Diwali sweets. It's a time for joy, togetherness, and creating beautiful memories. Wishing you a splendid Diwali!

Diwali, the festival of lights is one of the popular festivals that reunite family and friends. Every year I get excited when Diwali comes. I plan everything to celebrate Diwali with my friends. I will share my plan with you if you are thinking about how you celebrate Diwali with your family.

Decorate your home:

For this spiritual occasion light your home with candles or earthen lamps, create colorful designs with rangoli on the floor, put torans and marigold flowers on the main entrance doors, and decorate your home with wall hangings this Diwali.

I use fairy lights on my balcony every year to enjoy the occasion. The gleaming lights fill my heart with joy as they create a festive ambiance.

Light up your house with Diyas:

You can light up the entrance with Diya on Diwali. You can easily buy earthen Diya from a stationery shop or if you want to be more creative like me you can use dough or eggshells. I also use paper cups to light up my home.

Prepare sweets:

Since I always invite my friends on Diwali, I make some sweets for them for moments like this. Kheer, barfis, Gulab Jamun are some mouth-watering sweets you can buy from shops. I also buy Soan Papdi to gift my friends.

I make some milk cakes with milk, sugar, and ghee, lemon. My children love having them.

Wear Traditional Clothes:

Last but not the least, you can style up by wearing traditional clothes like saree, salwar, kurta to feel the vibe of Diwali.

I personally avoid lighting up firecrackers as I have kids around me all the time and it creates air pollution.

Diwali is different every year, celebrate it by enjoying it to your fullest!

I hope you know now how you celebrate Diwali with your family.
