E khata is an electronic or digital khata issued to the property owners in Bangalore. E khata is just an online copy of a khata document which contains the ownership proof of property. The details mentioned in the khata document are owner's name, size, location, area, built-up area, etc.
To apply for e-khata, there is a list of documents which are required to be submitted with the authorities. So, apart from sale deed copy, you’ll have to produce the following documents:
Previous khata/ manual khata
Latest EC
Photo of property
Photo of the owner
ID proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, etc.)
You can take these documents and visit the panchayat office to get e khata. However, you can avoid the risk of going out and apply for e khata online.
