I received an unusual bill last month. After two weeks of being away from home, I saw that my electricity bill had increased significantly. I then questioned my uncle about is there any possibility to do high electricity bill complaint online. 

He said Yes, you may quickly file a complaint by using any of the following three methods:

  • File an official complaint with the local electricity board.

  • Make a consumer court complaint. 

  • Call 1912 to speak with Customer Care.

Get in touch with your utility supplier to report any errors and request an on-site inspection if you think there may be one. For the sake of reliability and security, the replacement procedure should be left to a trained electrician once the meter has been determined to be defective.
