Hi there,

We always wonder about the Legal rights of tenants without contract since we rent a property. Well, even if you don't renew the legal agreement it is legal to stay on the rented property if you pay your rent on time. But things become tricky when there is no legal agreement. We tend to wonder what happens if rent agreement is not renewed. 

As per my knowledge, a landlord cannot tell a tenant to vacate with a notice. He cannot force a tenant to leave without a notice or raise the rent randomly. These are the things landlords are not allowed to do. You can talk to landlord and ask him for some time or you can talk to a lawyer regarding this matter.
