Commercial properties yield a better rent when compared to a residential property. However, the city and the locality are as important as the rent of the property. I think, investing in cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, NCR, Chennai and Pune will fetch you high rental value. 

Mumbai

being the financial capital of the country, one can generate a great revenue  through the rent of a commercial property. South Mumbai being the major hub of business for several decades is now facing shortage of space. So many businesses are shifting to Lower Parel and Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC). 

Bangalore

is the biggest IT hub in India and is a home to several SMSEs as well as MNCs. There is a high demand for premium office space in Bangalore. You can invest in South and West Bangalore to get higher rental yield.

, areas like

Gurgaon

Noida
