To register a complaint in India, you can visit the official website of the concerned authority. The process of registering a complaint may vary depending on the type of complaint and the authority responsible for addressing it. Here are some common ways to register a complaint:

  1. National Consumer Helpline Portal

    : You can lodge a complaint online with the National Consumer Helpline portal of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. You need to register yourself with the portal to file or lodge your complaints online. One can also check the status of already filed complaints.

  2. IRDAI’s Online Portal

    : You can register a complaint directly on IRDAI’s online portal - Bima Bharosa System. You can also send the complaint through email to complaints@irdai.gov.in or call the toll-free number 155255 or 1800 4254 732.

  3. Bureau of Indian Standards

    : You can register a complaint online through the mobile app BIS CARE or by using the Consumer Engagement Portal. On receipt of the complaint, it is investigated, and further actions are taken for its redressal.

  4. Cyber Crime Portal

    : You can report cybercrime complaints online through the Cyber Crime Portal. This portal caters to complaints pertaining to cyber crimes only with special focus on cyber crimes against women and children.
