How to Make a House Vastu Compliant?


Here are some ways through which you can make your house Vastu compliant:


Bedroom


  1. Avoid placing your bed under a beam.

  2. Avoid water bodies or plants in the room.

  3. Don’t have TVs or computers in the room.

  4. Have the telephone in the northeast or southeast corner of the room.


Living/Dining Room


  1. Have the TV and computers in the southeast corner of the room.

  2. Place a bright light near the main door.

  3. Hang a picture of a bright sunrise on the southern wall.

  4. Place a happy family portrait.


Kitchen


  1. Never have a mirror there.

  2. Have your gas stove in the southeast corner and the person should cook while facing the east side.

  3. Ensure that the brooms and mops are not visible in the room.

  4. Place drinking water on the northeast side of the kitchen.


Toilet


  1. Keep the bathroom doors closed.

  2. The windows should open outwards only.

  3. Place the seat of your toilet on the south or west wall.
