There are very few areas in between Baner and Yerwada as a huge amount of area is under Pune University and military. However, I think these three areas would be perfect for you as well as your fiance.
a. Ashok Nagar, Range Hills
Ashok Nagar in Range Hills is the perfect choice for you. It is around 7 to 8 km (15-20 minutes drive) from Baner as well as Bund Garden (exactly in the middle). The locality is top notch and there are several bungalows and independent houses in this area making the area quite costly. A 1 BHK apartment rent in Ashok Nagar, Range Hills usually starts at 15K per month.
b. Model Colony and Senapati Bapat Road, Shivaji Nagar
Model Colony and Senapati Bapat Road are adjacent to each other. Baner is around 8-9 km from here and Bund Garden Road is approximately 6 km (15 minutes drive to Bund Garden and 25 minutes drive to Baner). These two areas are quite posh as well. Here, the rent for a 1 BHK apartment can be anywhere around 15-20K per month.
c. Bopodi (Bhau Patil Road)
Bopodi is a great option if you are looking for an affordable option. Both Bund Garden and Baner are approximately 8 km from here (20 minutes drive). There are several decent societies in this area. You can find 1 BHK apartment on rent in Bopodi (Bhau Patil Road) starting at 10K per month. Another benefit of this location is that it is very peaceful as Savitribai Phule Pune University and the defence area are very near. There is a lot of greenery in and around this area.
