It is not safe to buy a property that is not RERA approved. RERA is a regulatory body that was established to protect the interests of homebuyers and ensure that the real estate sector is transparent and accountable. If you buy a property that is not registered with RERA, you will not be able to approach the authority to file a complaint if needed. However, if the property is approved by the Gram Panchayat but not by RERA, it may be safe to buy it only if it has been approved by other regulatory bodies such as BBMP or BDA.
