My cousin lives in Taloja, so before moving there, I called her up to ask how is Taloja for living in detail. I am going to shift there with my kid and my old parents, so I really wanted to know every detail about that place.  My first question to her was- "Is Taloja good for living?” I was happy to learn it is. In fact, Taloja is one of the most preferred places to live in Navi Mumbai. If you are interested in knowing more about that place, read this answer to the end.

How much is Taloja safe to live?

After considering a lot of factors, I was assured that Taloja is a safe place to live. Here are the reasons to say so-

  Connectivity

Connectivity plays a vital role. Always look for places that are easily accessible and from where you can travel to any place easily. Taloja is directly connected to the Sion-Panvel Highway, Panvel, and Dombivli-Kalyan. It will help you travel to Mumbai, Pune, and Thane very easily. The Vasai-Diva-Panvel Central Railway line also runs through this area, and as of now, three shuttle trains ply on this route to and from Vasai-Diva-Panvel

  Facilities to enjoy-

The best part about Taloja is that you will find schools, health centres, entertainment hubs, malls, and more in this area. In fact, CIDCO is all set to develop the area more and make the place self-sustaining. Taloja is very close to

  • Central Park- 5 km

  • Golf Course- 5 km

  • ISKCON Temple- 5 km

  • Cultural Heritage Centre- 4 km and more

  Properties for rent

Taloja is really affordable. You can rent an apartment here for Rs 3,000 to Rs 9,000 per month. The average rent for a 1 BHK here is between Rs 3,000 and Rs 3,500; for a 2 BHK, it is Rs 4,500 to Rs 5,500; and for a 3 BHK, it is around Rs 7,000 to Rs 9,000 per month. (These are the rates I learned about in 2020, which can differ from current rates.)

So if you ask me, how is Taloja for living, I will say it is great because of these facilities.
