Hey Friend,

I have been working for the past 5 years and never has my bank deducted any extra charge nor was I asked to pay any extra tax for getting my salary deposited in my bank account directly. A bank will deduct tax when interest income from deposits held in all the bank branches put together exceeds Rs 40, 000 in a year.
