Hey Friend,

The CGHS is available to all Central Government employees and their dependent family members who live in CGHS-covered locations. Parents, sisters, widowed sisters, widowed daughters, minor brothers, minor sisters, children, and stepchildren who are entirely reliant upon the government servant and are residing with the government servant are all considered dependent family members under the CGHS.

Apart from CGHS, there are other health schemes of the Government of India that an unmarried daughter can opt for;

  • Ayushman Bharat Yojana

  • Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana

  • Aam Aadmi Bima Yojana (AABY)

  • Janshree Bima Yojana

  • Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Insurance Scheme

  • Universal Health Insurance Scheme (UHIS)

I hope this helps:)
