Hey friend,

If your  father’s house is a self acquired property, you will not have any claim on the property. It is the decision of the property owner to sell the property and buy a new one.

You will further have no claim on the new property or the money received from the sale.

If your father’s property is ancestral in nature. You will get a share of the old property  in accordance with the inheritance law. All legal heirs will get an equal share of the ancestral property.

I hope this is helpful for you.
