One of the most common reasons why PF claims get rejected is due to incorrect documentation and information mismatch. You should check if your details in UAN portal match with that in KYC. Further, you can check the status of your application, usually the reasons are mentioned there.
Some other reasons of PF claim rejection could be:
- Signatures mismatch
- Non- compliance of PF withdrawal rules
- Inability to produce Form 15G and PAN details for claim of over Rs. 50000 in less than 5 years of service.
