If you want to change the name in your rental agreement, then you have to recover the original rent agreement, as well as any duplicates, with the landlord's permission, and make a name correction. Both the landlord's and tenant's signatures should be obtained and validated as a justification for the correction. You can even cancel the previous rental arrangement and start over.
