You must take certain procedures in order to receive an occupancy certificate (OC) for a building owned by the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA). 

  • First, the developer needs to make sure that all SRA laws are followed. 

  • The developer must provide several important documents, including copies of the building sanction plan, the commencement certificate, the no-objection certificate (NOC) and so on, in order to acquire the OC.

  • Following this, they must submit an application to SRA.

  • The building will then be inspected to ensure that it complies with safety and other standards. 

  • If everything is in order, the developer will be given OC to permit residents to live in the SRA building.
