My dear friend Anish has a small shop in Thane near Upvan Lake. He wanted to rent it out but it was very difficult for him to find a tenant. Especially after the lockdown period, finding the right set of tenants was a task. Either the tenant would ask for a huge discount on rent or the broker that he hired would bring in shady people (at least that’s what he told me).
