People using public addresses or loudspeakers are required to maintain a certain noise level and not exceed 75 dB (A) or 10 dB (A) above the ambient noise standards for specified area.
If you own a sound system you are not allowed to exceed the noise level above 5 dB (A) the noise standards for the area it is to be used in.
You are not allowed to burst crackers that emit loud noise at night or in the silence zones.
You should also not use loud noise-emitting construction equipment at night or in silence zones.

1) There is a law if you break the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000's noise pollution regulations. The (CPCB) has suggested a new set of fines ranging from Rs.1,000 to Rs.1 lakh.
2) Continuously loud infrastructure projects, loudspeakers at events and rallies, and screaming at odd hours are all examples of noise pollution and legal infractions. As a result, people who break the rules risk having their pockets burned.
3) A violation of the rules for the use of loudspeakers or sound systems might result in some consequences. Your material will get seized and a fine of Rs.10,000 under the proposed format of penalties.
4) Additionally, based on the scale of the unit, diesel generator sets that violate noise pollution regulations may be sealed and fined between Rs.10,000 and Rs.100,000.

6) The National Ambient Noise Monitoring Network was developed in 2011. It consists of 70 noise monitoring stations spread throughout seven cities. It includes Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Mumbai.
