Maharashtra  Co-Operative Society Act sec 154 B 11 sub section (1)  method of voting, and states right to vote shall be exercised personally. That can mean in person & not through Postal Ballot. So not postal ballot please. If NRI or any body staying outside society cannot vote personally then in his absence joint member can vote ref su sec (4). Further Associate member can vote if authorised by Member in writing .

Hey there,

I see you want to know information regarding postal ballots in co-operative housing societies . Housing societies often conduct elections and they use postal ballots to do so. I think it makes the election voting process convenient for everyone. People don't have to think about traveling to a voting booth. They can simply vote by filling a secret postal ballot form.

All information about the election process and housing society is mentioned in the Co-Operative Society Act. You can check that out online.
