The application for transfer of tenancy in MHADA can be downloaded from E mitra website or you can register yourself on the aaplesarkar website and login on the following link

To start with the transfer of tenancy procedure.
The MHADA authorities have clear guidelines related to the transfer of tenancy. It can take place in the event of the death of the original allottee, transfer of the allottee, or the alotte intends to occupy another accommodation within the local jurisdiction. Upon careful and thorough verification of the application submitted by the allottee, MHADA decides whether the transfer can be permitted or not.
It is important to get permission from the housing society or company to carry out this transfer.
Here are the important documents to submit for transfer of tenancy under MHADA:
An application in prescribed format
Certificate duly signed by the applicant with reasons for transfer of tenancy rights
Death certificate (original) if the original tenement holder is dead
An affidavit on Rs. 20/- stamp paper declaring therein that he/she, his/her/wife/husband and unmarried children have not possessed any land/tenement in the Mumbai City and in the extended suburb areas
NOC from original tenement holder
NOC from Co-operative Society
Certificate of annual income
Copy of income tax return
Two duly attested photographs of applicant
Clearance for no dues
Heirship Certificate
You will have to pay the transfer of tenancy rights charges in cash or DD. Transfer charges are as follows
Low Income Group @Rs 45/Sq.ft: Maximum of Rs 15,000
Middle Income Group @Rs 55/Sq.ft: Maximum of Rs 25,000
High Income Group @Rs 60/Sq.ft: Maximum of Rs 35,000
