I have faced the similar situation where my rental payment was debited but not credited to my owner’s account. I therefore enquired about the rental payment debited not credited solution from my friend, who works in banking. He instructed me to follow the advice below:
Make contact with the landlord and present proof of the transaction to alert them to the disparity.
Get in touch with your bank or other financial organisation to let them know about the error and request a reversal of the payment.
When I did eventually get through to my bank, they informed me that my debited money would be returned within 24 hours to 7 working days. If you are experiencing the same situation, it is important that you take quick action to resolve the problem in order to prevent further complications.
