It’s important to ensure that the ownership details in the registration papers accurately reflect the actual ownership status of the land. Here are some key points to consider:
- Legal Consistency
: The registration papers should clearly state the ownership transfer of all relevant khasras. If only Khasras A and B are mentioned as transferred to the buyer, it might create legal ambiguities regarding Khasras C and D.
- Jamabandi Records
: The Jamabandi should match the registration papers. If all four khasras (A, B, C, D) are listed in the Jamabandi but only two are mentioned as transferred in the registration papers, it could lead to disputes or complications in the future.
- Consultation with Legal Expert
: It is advisable to consult with a legal expert or property lawyer to review the documents and ensure that the ownership transfer is correctly documented for all four khasras. This will help avoid any potential legal issues.
- Updating Records
: If there is an inconsistency, you may need to update the registration papers to reflect the correct ownership status of all four khasras. This might involve a legal process to amend the documents.
Ensuring that all documents are consistent and accurately reflect the ownership status is crucial for avoiding future disputes and ensuring clear property rights.

There are 4 khasras Example A B C D in Jamabandi for a plot and all 4 are mentioned in Registration papers as well in land decription section but there is one line at the end that states that Khasras A and B ownership is transferred to the buyer This has been the case for last 20 years of registry for that plot of land but I want to know if it is ok to have only 2 mentioned as ownership transferred but having all 4 khasras in Jamabandi and land description section of registration paper?
