Hello. I have mounted two TV’s at my house in successive years. One was mounted on the wall of our living room, while the other was installed on my bedroom wall. So, let me show you the process of television wall mount installation. Keep reading to gain all the information.

How to Perform the TV Installation Wall Mount?

As said earlier, I am sharing the stepwise process to mount a TV. So, here is how I mounted my TV on the wall of my bedroom. Before I start, you must do the basic preparation of finding the exact spot and angle where the TV will be mounted on the wall. Once done, follow these steps.

  1. The first thing to do is to find the studs to mount the bracket. Start by measuring the mounting points on the TV to know the number of studs needed. This will usually be two in number, where one goes to the left while the other goes to the right. You may require a third stud as well, depending on the wall and your mount. Point out the locations on the wall using a pencil.

  2. Now you need to specify the points or holes where the screws will go in. These should be in a straight line to keep things levelled. Mark the points with a pencil or by sticking a paper.

  3.  You must place the bracket flat on the wall and keep the first screw position in line with the first marked hole. Now, shift the bracket to line up your second marked hole. With a level, confirm that the mount is in a straight line, aligned with the holes.

  4. It is time to drill the holes through the drywall and into the placed studs.

  5. After completion, screw the mounting screws to attach the bracket to the wall. Here, the screws will go into the studs.

  6. This step will require you to attach the mounting plate of your television. Lip up the plate with the mounting holes present on the back of the TV chassis. Proceed to fix the mounting plate to the TV using screwdrivers and a screwdriver.

  7. The second last step to complete the television wall mount installation is to attach the wall bracket to the TV’s mounting plate. Be careful when you lift the TV and do not press against the screen to avoid any damage.

  8. Now all you need to do is to connect your TV to the electricity supply.

I hope this helps you learn the process of mounting TV wall mount.

Wall mount TV installation process

  • Determine the location for the TV. For the best picture quality, viewing angles are frequently crucial, so closely consider your location. In addition to being more work, moving the TV after the fact will also leave worthless holes in your wall.

  • Make use of a stud finder to locate the wall plates. When your stud finder shows that a stud has been located, move it across the wall. When it does, note the location with some painters tape so you can recall it.

  • Drill your starter holes after marking them. These are the tiny holes that your mounting fasteners will use to attach to the wall. For this, you should definitely have a partner. Place the bracket against the wall. To make sure it is upright, use a level.

  • To the wall, fasten the mounting device. Drill the mounting screws into the pilot holes you made in the previous stage while holding your mount against the wall.

  • If you haven't already, take the TV's base off first.

  • Determine where the TV's mounting plate connection holes are located. Sometimes they have plastic coverings or already have fasteners in them. If so, get rid of them.

  • Using the provided hardware, fasten the plate to the TV's rear.

  • Your TV should be wall-mounted. This is the last action! Re-grab your companion, as doing this on your own can be challenging.

  • Carefully lift the TV using your legs, not your spine.

  • Following the manufacturer's directions, align the mounting arm or plate on the TV with the bracket on the wall. Always read the directions because this can differ from one mount to the next.

  • Enjoy your brand-new TV! That's it, then! Enjoy living the high life while unwinding and relaxing in front of a wall-mounted TV.

This is all you need to know about the wall mount TV installation process.
