Last year, my family and I went to Singapore on a vacation. After so many hiccups and muddles, we all got our passports just a month before the trip. My mother is a staunch believer of Vastu Shastra and she consulted a Vastu expert asking where to keep passport as per Vastu as she didn’t want any more trouble. The consultant gave us a few insightful tips and guidelines on the same which I am sharing below for your reference. 

Where Should I Keep My Passport at Home?

According to Vastu Shastra, the north west direction of your home is governed by the Wind God, Vayu Dev. This means that the north west direction greatly impacts your travel luck. This will also invite more travel opportunities to your home in future. The consultant also gave some Vastu tips on improving your travel luck.

• Construct a bay window cabinet in the north-west direction to store your travel suitcase and other travel essentials, including our passport.

• Consider placing images of the places you want to travel in the same direction.

• Avoid constructing a toilet or kitchen in the north-west direction of your home as it can create a hindrance on safe travelling.

• Try sleeping in the north-west direction, with your head facing the west, especially when you’re facing issues in terms of getting your visas or passports. 

• Keep an image of Lord Kuber when you’re on a business trip, as the Kuber Yantra is recommended for business or career growth.

• Speak English in your accent. Don't fake it.

• Make eye contact with the interviewer.

Don’ts:

• Avoid vocabs such as ‘umm’, ‘I guess’, ‘like’. In short, don’t be a nervous nancy.

• Do not mug words with scripted lines before your interview. Giving answers mechanically can create a bad impression

• Don’t tear the documents you are providing. 

• Don’t be late for the interview.
