There are a few things that you must ask your broker or agent before finalizing the deal for rental accommodation or property sale. This is how to deal with real estate agents and what to ask them:

Ask them about the price

Real estate agents usually don’t tell you the exact numbers. When you ask them for the seller’s selling price, they end up giving a vague number. Similarly, they don’t provide clarity when you ask them about rental charges. So, make sure that you get the right price and numbers from them.

Don’t fall for FOMO

Agents and brokers are skilled in instilling FOMO in you. You should be patient and analytical because there will be chances that they are using the tactic to bind you to the deal without weighing in your options and neglecting the negotiation part as well.

Ask them why?

Clearly ask your agent why you should buy the property. Ask them everything from material quality, utility connections, amenities, their incentive (yes, ask them about that too). If they hold back any information or don’t answer directly, that can be a red flag.
