I renovated my kitchen last week and for that, I had to remove the Faber chimney. Now, I wanted to get it installed again and for that I called their customer service and asked about the Faber Chimney installation charges. The executive told me about the information and I have added that below.

The executive told me that charges for the installation of an Isola/Island Chimney is Rs. 1650. He also told me that the travel cost for the service expert will be borne by me in case of upcountry areas.

The executive also told me that the traditional or decorative chimney recirculation mode would cost me Rs. 450 and the Ducting Mode would cost Rs. 600.

What Is Faber Chimney Installation Cost?

Following this, a Faber technician visited me to install the Chimney. Here are the steps he followed to do that. 

• Step 1: Preparing The Location

I directed him towards the location, where the chimney needs to be installed. He started by cleaning the wall and removing all the dust and grime present there. There were a few holes and defects, he repaired those and made it smooth. 

Then he attached the chimney to the wall by drilling holes and attaching it with screws and clamps. 

• Step 2: Chimney Duct and Ventilation Pipe Installation

After that, he connected the duct of the chimney to the chimney hood by clamps and connectors. To make sure that the airflow is optimal, he sealed and secured the ductwork. 

• Step 3: Wiring

He then connected the chimney to the power supply. He also followed the electrical safety procedures, such as turning off the power supply and testing the power connection.
