Houseplants are available in various sizes and aid in air purification. However, large plants do have advantages of their own. They look gorgeous and create positivity in your house. I therefore intended to furnish my new house with a tall, thin indoor plant. I researched online what is a good tall indoor plant. The Ficus Lyrata, also known as the Fiddle Leaf Fig, appears to be a popular option. I have included a list of best indoor tall plants below.

What are the Best Tall Indoor Plants?

I found that the following top large house plants can add character to any indoor space. These can fit into a room's corner or also fill a vacant area.

1) 5 to 6 feet Fiddle Leaf Fig or Ficus Lyrata

It is a gorgeous, lush plant with glossy leaves that resemble violins. It looks stunning and adds a striking touch to offices and any other space.

2) 6 to 8 feet Rubber Plant or Ficus Elastica

By absorbing carbon dioxide and filtering out pollutants, this plant enhances indoor air quality and makes it cleaner and fresher.

3) 5 to 8 feet Monstera Deliciosa

This plant makes a striking statement in any indoor space with its large, deep green leaves and distinctive cut-out patterns. Additionally, it releases oxygen, which enhances air circulation and promotes good health.

4) 4 to 6 feet Corn Plant or Dracaena Fragrans

This plant is perfect for beginner house plant enthusiasts and is incredibly simple to grow. In addition to having a lovely appearance, this plant helps purify the air by eliminating toxins.

The large indoor plants listed above are great options for giving interior spaces a dash of elegance and greenery. I hope you get an idea of what are good large indoor plants.

Is Having Peepal Tree in House Good or Bad?

Hi there, being a passionate gardener, I guess I can tell you some good options for long indoor plants. I started out with a few potted plants on my balcony. Later on, I expanded my love for plants by removing a bit of the parking space with a law. In 2 years, I grew 20 different kinds of flowers.

However, I had to shift to a new city 3 years ago due to a job switch. There, I lived in a 2 BHK flat. So, I started to keep plants indoors. I nurtured them for a couple of years before moving back to my hometown.

With this experience, I think I’m capable enough to tell you which are the best tall indoor house plants. So to make it easy for you, I am enlisting three types of plants. This will help you answer the question, what are good tall indoor plants? The list is mentioned below, please help yourself.

Tall indoor plants low light

  1. Monstera (Monstera deliciosa)

These indoor plants are best if you don’t have time to take care of your greens. They grow even in limited sunlight so they are ideal for what you’re looking for. Keep them in places where there’s indirect sunlight. Make sure to water them when you see that the above two inches of soil look dry. These plants are toxic to pets, so avoid them if you have a little friend.

  1. Rubber Plant (Ficus elastica)

As the name suggests, these plants were used to create rubber with white latex. When they are outside, they take up the form of huge trees. These plants require light, so ensure that you don’t keep them in the dark. Just like the monstera, these need to be watered when the soil’s top two inches are devoid of moisture. Also, they are toxic to pets.

  1. ZZ Plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia)

These kinds of plants can grow in whatever light situation there is. However., their rate of growth is very slow. So, it's a good thing to take into consideration that you wish to keep them indoors. Water them after the soil completely dries out. It is poisonous if ingested by humans and animals, so please be cautious.
