I’ve recently availed of a pre-approved home loan from SBI. Thus, I’ll be happy to share the list of documents required for home loan SBI.
What are the Documents for Housing Loan in SBI?
With house loan approval available before property finalization, the SBI Pre-approved Loan (PAL) gives consumers the confidence to negotiate with builders or sellers. A loan applicant's income information is used to establish their eligibility. Upon acceptance, a non-refundable processing fee related to the house loan is collected.
The State Bank of India housing loan documents required for me were as follows,
A filled-out loan application form affixed with 3 passport size photographs
A PAN card as a proof of identity
I had to submit an Aadhar card as a residence proof
Last 6 month’s Bank account statements for all Bank accounts held by me
As income proof for salaried applicants, I was also asked to submit a salary slip or salary certificate for the last 3 months
Copy of Form 16 for the last 2 years or copy of IT returns for last 2 financial years, acknowledged by IT Dept.
These were the home loan paper requirement SBI. I hope this helps!
