I bought a property in Bangalore a couple of years ago and khata transfer was a challenge for me. It took me some time to understand the documents for khata transfer. Let me tell you all you need to know about the documents needed for khata transfer.

What are the Documents Required for BDA Khata Transfer?

Through Sale deed

i. Sale deed 

ii. Tax paid receipt (for current year) 

iii. Encumbrance certificate (Form 15) from the date of the sale deed to the current date

Through Inheritance (Will)

i. Previous title deed or possession certificate in case of allotment by a Govt. agency
