, the Mumbai Housing and Area Development Board (MHADB) will hold a lottery in March to sell roughly 4,000 homes. The Pahadi neighbourhood of Goregaon West on Link Road will house about 2,200 homes, with the remainder of dwellings dispersed throughout Powai, Sion, Borivali, etc.

1. The applicant should be minimum 18 years of age. 2. The applicant should have stayed for 15 continuous years in Maharashtra. 3. The applicant should have a PAN Card. 4. Income proof for a financial year (excluding reimbursable allowances like medical, travel etc.). 1. Economically Weaker Section or EWS (Annual income upto Rs. 25000),  2. Step 1: Logon to the MHADA Lottery Website.  Step 2: Register yourself on the portal by creating your username and password. You will have to fill in other details like name, gender, DOB, marital status, residential address & contact number, occupation, PAN number etc. Step 3: Login to the website now to complete the registration process. Select the MHADA Lottery that you wish to apply to and enter the details like income group, reservation category & applicant type. Do enter the scheme code. Now mention the bank account details and current residential address for communication. Confirm that you or anyone from your family doesn't own a property in the region. Step 4: Last step is to the pay the application fees. If you are paying the amount online, you will have to upload a cancelled cheque and make the payment towards MHADA bank account. If you want to pay through a DD, you will have to print the application form and submit it along with the DD in the bank.  There is an option to generate the payment slip from the payment portal for future reference.

If your application doesn't get selected in the lottery draw then MHADA will refund the amount you have spent on the application fees within seven working days.
