Hi, I recently moved to Bangalore from Delhi and needed a gas connection. I asked my landlord about the process and documents required for gas connection. He told me that I could get a gas connection from any of the gas connection providers, such as Indane, Bharat gas, etc. 

What are the New Gas Connection Documents?

My landlord told me about the documents that I need to provide. He told me that there are mainly two types of documents that need to be provided, and those are

• Proof Identity and 

• Proof of Address. 

Following that, he provided me with a list of the types of these documents. I have added the list below:

• Then, he told me to choose the type of connection and tick the declaration. 

• Following that, he told me to choose the state as Karnataka and the district as Bangalore-URB and click on Show List. 

• Now, he asked me to choose the agency that was close to my house and scroll down to click on Continue. 

• After that, he asked me to enter the Mobile Number, then the Captcha, and click on Submit. 

• Now, he told me to click on Generate OTP and enter the OTP accordingly. 

Following this, he told me to enter all the necessary information by following the prompts. He also told me to make the payment for the new connection through my preferred method.

However, I would like to add a couple of more documents needed for new gas connection that I had submitted. Along with identity card, residential proof, KYC documents and photograph, you must also submit the complete application form and utility bills as well. I was asked to submit a copy of my electricity or water bill.
