  • For DDs up to Rs. 10,000: The charge is Rs. 50 per DD.

  • For DDs between Rs. 10,001 and Rs. 1 lakh: The charge is Rs. 5 per Rs. 1,000, subject to a minimum of Rs. 75 and a maximum of Rs. 15,000.

  • For DDs above Rs. 1 lakh: The charge is Rs. 4 per Rs. 1,000, subject to a minimum of Rs. 500 and a maximum of Rs. 15,000.

  • Online Issuance: ICICI Bank also facilitates the issuance of DDs through online banking. The charges for online DDs are typically lower:

  • A flat fee or a reduced rate per Rs. 1,000 may be applicable for online DDs. Some account holders, such as those with premium accounts, may benefit from free or discounted online DD issuance.

Cancellation and Revalidation Charges:

  • Cancellation of a DD generally costs Rs. 100 per DD, plus applicable GST.
